Juniors
Junior Cricket at Chester Boughton Hall
Clubmark
The development of young people's interest in cricket is very important to us. The club runs teams in local leagues at seven different age-groups and provides a high quality cricket experience for both boys and girls from the age of 8 years.

Practice night for most age groups is on a Friday from 6pm till 8pm, although Under 15s upwards net on a Monday night. Parents are encouraged to stay and watch from the club house bar or balcony. Club Social membership is available at very reasonable rates.

We welcome offers of help from parents with the running of teams, especially on match days. Please speak to your child's team manager if you feel you can help with coaching, transport, provision of refreshments and even basic supervision.

U15s Cup Final v Christleton 09/09/07

U15 WinnersChester U15s 123-2, Christleton U15s 79-4. Chester won by 44 runs

Chester Boughton Hall U15s played their North Cheshire Cup Final early Sunday morning at Christleton Cricket Club. Having won the toss and electing to bat, Chester got off to a solid start with a 66 opening partnership between Jack Williams and Michael Robinson off 12 overs. Glen Coppack came to the crease and after some good shots and positive running, the score reached 95 off 17 overs before Glen was dismissed by an excellent ball. Andrew Leech added momentum, hitting 18 off 12 balls and Chester finished on 123-2 with Jack Williams unbeaten on 61 off 59 balls, including 7 boundaries.

Accurate bowling and enthusiastic fielding put Christleton under pressure from ball one. Andrew Leech and Michael Robinson opened the bowling to good effect. Mike got the break through in the 6th over with a good inswinger to the left hander. Matt Robinson and Mike Jones kept things tight from one end whilst Jack Williams took two wickets from the other, including a good stumping from Glen Coppack. Chris Henshaw enjoyed bowling the last over and taking the final wicket of the innings. Christleton finally finished on 79-4 off their 20 overs.

A deserved victory and the morning was enjoyed by all! Many thanks to Christleton Cricket Club for their excellent hospitality and the game was played in a really good spirit.
